About Border & Square Picture Framing Shop in Provo, UT

For years, I have dreamed of starting a small business that could marry my dual passions of wood crafting and art. The opportunity came in 2018, when I took the leap and started Border & Square in a 200 sq ft studio in the back of the house in Provo, UT. Despite the humble, hidden location, people started to come, and in a short time I was able to have a wonderful group of regular clients whom I love working with.

I moved location 5 blocks down the street in 2020 when the pandemic began, and Border & Square graduated into a larger 650 sq ft garage. Today, we have a team of four (the A-Team, as I like to call ourselves) working in the frame studio, and have larger, fancier machines and tools to help with the work.

Border & Square is still quite humble and hidden, but the unassuming location belies the fact that we are a great team of artists absolutely dedicated to providing the best frames, service, and hospitality we can,  to you.

I graduated with a Masters in Fine Arts from BYU. After jobs in teaching, woodworking, and managing a frame store, I decided to start Border & Square. In addition to work, I love spending time with my daughter, going to the gym, trying out new restaurants, and painting (when I have time left over)!
